Fourth and fifth-graders competed to represent their school at the annual districtwide Black History Bee on Thursday. Students prepared for the event by studying the lives of important Black Americans and answering detailed questions about these heroes in the areas of science, arts, music, education, athletics, and civil rights. This year's Black History art and writing contest winners also were recognized at the event. Congratulations to all participants!
